Loyola Basketball Mid-Season Report
February 12th, 2016 by WLOY Staff
With five games remaining in the Patriot League regular season, the Loyola Greyhounds are right in the thick of things. They have a record of 8-16 overall, but they are 7-6 in the extremely competitive Patriot League. Loyola is currently tied for fifth place with Colgate, but there is still a lot of basketball to be played over the next several weeks. Second and ninth place is separated by only three games so, the Greyhounds still have an opportunity to climb up the Patriot League standings. Read the rest of this entry »

Megan Wilde-Wildfire
February 10th, 2016 by WLOY Staff
Megan Wilde-Wildfire
Release: May 19, 2015
Rate: 8/10
Megan Wilde’s debut is with her EP, Wildfire. There are a range of influences with instances of classic rock, funk, blues and jazz. Just like her music, Megan has a funky/groovy voice with great range. She reminds me of a mix of the late, Amy Winehouse, Aretha franklin, again with a bluesy rock edge of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals musically/instrumentally with some Janis Joplin vibes thrown in there.
