The Great Blacks in Wax Museum offers a cultural and educational experience that is a unique landmark in Baltimore. The first wax museum to appear in Baltimore and the first African American was museum in the nation, the Great Blacks in Wax museum is committed solely to preserving African American history and shining a light on African ancestry and its uniqueness. More than 100 wax figures are displayed in the museum to demonstrate dramatic scenes from the lives of historical figures such as Harriet Tubman, Billie Holiday, and many more! Women’s Soccer Wins Second Straight League Game

The Greyhounds earned their second straight Patriot League win with a 2-0 shutout victory against American University.
With this win, the Hounds improve to 6-8-2 on the season and 2-3-2 in conference play.
Also, this win keeps Loyola alive in the Patriot League with the playoffs starting in 2 weeks.
Senior goalkeeper, Colleen Folan, came up big in the game, shutting down American’s numerous opportunities and recording her eighth clean sheet of the season.
The Hounds look to keep this Patriot League momentum going as they play their last home game of the season on Sunday, October 26th against Navy.

Manning Makes History; Breaks TD Record

This weekend in Denver, Peyton Manning made history by breaking Brett Favre’s all-time NFL career touchdown pass record of 508.
It seems an eternity since Manning threw his first career TD pass to Marvin Harrison back in 1998, but now in 2014 and in the heart of his 17th NFL season, Manning sits at a record 510 career TD passes, a record he will continue to add on to for as long as he plays.
The record-breaking 509th TD pass came with 3:09 remaining in the first half on an 8-yard pass to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.
When asked about the historical catch, Thomas said, “I thought before the play I might have a chance…I just wanted to make sure I got my feet down. I’m grateful for the chance.”
Manning, a player known for keeping his calm demeanor and his emotions in check, couldn’t help but give a big smile as he saw the official signal for touchdown pass number 509.
