Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 by Liz Kosik

by Liz Kosik ’25

Nicole Destefanis, a graduate of Loyola University in 2022, reflects on her time at Loyola and the impact of hosting a radio show.
Q: Can you tell us about your show at WLOY? (name and theme, genre of music)
A: The show is called “welcome 2 ur 20s,” and we’re diving into the postgrad years, serving as an alumni spotlight on a topic heavily avoided while in school–each week will have a different genre/vibe, ranging from 90s alt rock, to early 00s pop to current indie, etc. (a taste of almost everything…except country).
