The tours depart from here on Friday evening and Saturday morning and focus on topics such as ghosts, the War of 1812, mritime history, or slavery and Frederick Douglass’s tenure in Fells Point.

Similar to the one in Washington DC, this monument is here in Baltimore! Designed by the same architect this monument was made to commemorate George Washington. Built in 1815 the monument is a part of baltimore history.

This star-shaped brick fort is famous for its role in the War of 1812. The national monument, which staved off a British invasion, later inspired Francis Scott Key to pen a poem, “Defence of Fort McHenry” — the words of which later served as the lyrics to his “Star-Spangled Banner.”
