Just a few of the upcoming performances include David Sedaris, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, and On Safari. You’re certain to enjoy whatever show you come to see at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Not only does the Hall offer an excellent range of shows, all with talent and prestige, but the Hall itself is a beautiful place to enjoy a show! With a modern 2,443 seat theatre, the building, itself, is demonstrates some of Charm City’s finest architecture and unusual structure. Whether your the next Lance Armstrong (circa 1993), an aspiring cyclist, or you would still prefer to use your training wheels, the Baltimore Bike Party is a great party! The only rule is that everyone rides together! There is a different-themed bike ride held on the last Friday of every month, making it new and exciting each and every time! There are also fun opportunities such as feeding giraffes and penguins. The zoo’s goal is to care for and preserve the amazing animals that exist around the world, especially those whose populations are declining by the masses such our largest land mammals, the elephant. Located just outside of the Inner Harbor, Little Italy offers food, Bocce ball tournaments, food, Italian festivals, and oh, did I mention food? With 30 restaurants to choose from, you will find quintessential Italy right here in Baltimore. There’s far more too Little Italy than just the food, though. Go to the Learning Center for Italian language or culture classes, attend mass at the beautiful St. Leo’s Parish, or explore the many museums and historical sites! There are always fun street events and neighborhood processions going on in Little Italy, making it the perfect place to spend your day off. So, what is Little Italy in a nutshell?
