World College Radio Day 2023

October 6th is World College Radio Day! The first College Radio Day occurred in the USA, Canada and Jamaica in October 2011. 365 college radio stations came together for the very first time. This year more than 700 stations in more than 50 countries will participate in this celebration of the impact of college radio on students, communities and music. Join us all day for fun and stop by our tent in front of Maryland Hall from 12-2 for some free donuts and to spin the prize wheel. We’ll have 3 kinds of shirts, hoodies, coffee and mugs to win!

WLOY was also honored by being selected as one of only 33 stations around the world to be offered a 30 minute slot in the Global Marathon stream available for all stations to air. At 4:30pm Eastern you can check out the full show we put together highlighting Baltimore’s massive local talent.
