Wacky Wednesday: McFadden Art Glass

It’s not everyday you get to make your own glass object. But here in Baltimore, it could be every Saturday. Every Saturday between 3 and 6 PM, McFadden Art Glass, a custom glassblowing studio, offers beginner glassblowing workshops where you get to have hands-on involvement in making your own glass creation.

From paperweights to necklaces and pendants to vases, the beginner’s workshop is sure to keep you busy. Once you’ve got yourself acquainted with the art (and have a few pieces at home from your own making), you’ll likely want to learn more and that’s what the rest of their programs are for… and the charming Glass Grill across the street.

And in celebration of the holidays, every Saturday between November 20^th and December 18^th, there will also be Holiday Ornament Workshops. Now, that’s sure to be an ornament you are proud to hang!
