Tourism Tuesday: The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
November 30th, 2010 by WLOY Staff
If you’re ready to get into the holiday spirit, you won’t want to miss the festive programming from Baltimore Symphony Orchestra this December. The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall has been home to the BSO since it opened in 1982 and once again the Holiday Spectacular will be returning. And this year, it’s Vegas, baby.
And Vegas means a chorus line of Rhinestone Santas. Complete with dancing dogs, showgirls, and all of your favorite holiday music, this Spectacular is sure live up to it’s title. To make sure you can catch it, there are performances running from December 10 through the 19.
But to usher in the Christmas season, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra once again kicks off December with Handel’s Messiah, this Friday, December 3rd. The very next day you’ll be able to catch two great musical experiences to get you in the holiday mindset: the Vienna Boys Choir and the Baltimore Ballet’s rendition of The Nutcracker.
Are you ready to get festive?
The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is located at:
