Theater Thursday: Divided Voices: Maryland in the Civil War

If you are in to history, action and drama, then you would definitely be interested in this! the Maryland Historical Society Museum’s Civil War exhibit, entitled “Divided Voices: Maryland in the Civil War”, is the largest and most comprehensive in the state and explores the impact of the war on the people of Maryland. The exhibit tells the story of a tragedy in three acts: the romantic war, the real war and the long reunion. The Maryland Historical Society Players will highlight important events and fascinating individuals who played a unique role in our state’s and country’s heritage. These individuals are vividly portrayed by an ensemble of period-costumed professional actors who transform the gallery into a theatrical experience and provide additional insight into the exhibit.
The Actors perform Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. Tours through the exhibit are at 12:30p,, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm. For more information, visit http://civilwarbaltimore.com/events/.
