It’s that time of year again!  Hockey returns as the 2013-2014 NHL season gets underway. If you’re looking to go see some great hockey, look no further than our nation’s capital.

The Washington Capitals will be in the midst of a 5-game home-stand next weekend that will include a game against the Colorado Avalanche. Any match-up between these two teams always promises to be a good one.

The Capitals began their season with a heartbreaking loss on the road against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks. The Capitals got it turned around, winning their first and only home game so far 5-4 against the Calgary Flames.
