Swedish duo, Icona Pop released their second studio album, This is…, September 24, 2013. Known for their hit, “I love it” the album is young, fresh and fun. It’s a fast car, top down, party album.

Like many dance electronic music, the album can seem to get very repetitive, there isn’t really any depth to the music, but that is what electronic music is. But, it does its job in that it makes you want to get up and dance. You can’t help but tap your feet while listening.

Though majority of the album is electronic pop, there are some indie pop songs on the album like, “[itunes link=”https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/in-the-stars/id688137160?i=688137311&uo=4″ title=”In the stars” text=”In the Stars”]” and “[itunes link=”https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/just-another-night/id688137160?i=688137315&uo=4″ title=”Just another night” text=”Just another night”]” that help break up the sometimes redundant dance songs.

But as a whole,  This is…, is a really fun album.
