This week we have Arcade Fire maintaining the number one spot, with Brandon Flowers working his way up to the top with his new solo album, Flamingo. WLOY Live Broadcast at Boulder September 17

Question: How can your Friday get any better when you’ve finished your last class and you’re free for the weekend?
Answer: A live remote broadcast from Boulder during lunchtime!
WLOY will be in the Boulder lobby on Friday from 11am-1pm broadcasting live with a Top 20 countdown of today’s greatest rock n roll hits. Here at WLOY, we care about your ears. We want to make them happy by playing great songs so that you may feel compelled to tap your foot or sing along. Be sure to stop by the WLOY table and say “hi” because you never know when we might be giving away FREE stuff like CDs, posters and concert tickets! Your ears will be glad you did. We wish we could play music for you wherever you go, but we can’t follow you around. We hope you follow us. WLOY would never stalk you, that’s ridiculous… Where are you going?

FAC Celebrates Its 10th Year!

Life without a fitness center that boasts an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a cornucopia of exercise equipment and even a rock wall is definitely a life not worth living– thankfully, Loyola’s Fitness and Aquatic Center (more affectionately known as the FAC) was born a decade ago to the delight of all Loyola students. What do we do in times of celebration? Throw a party, of course! Head over to the FAC today from 3-6pm to partake in some great games, win some giveaways, enjoy some delicious (and FREE!) snowballs and listen to awesome music provided by none other than WLOY!
