Seahawks Make A Statement Monday Night

UnknownThe Monday Night Football game between the Saints and the Seahawks promised a great contest between the top two teams in the NFC. The Seahawks set out to make a statement and prove that there is a large gap between one and two in the NFC.

Mission accomplished! The Seahawks had their way with the Saints at home in Seattle, winning by a convincing score of 34-7. With the win, Seattle improves to an 11-1 record on the season, a full two games above the next NFC teams, which are the Saints and the Panthers.

With his sophomore release, Blood Orange delivered an absolute masterpiece. The R&B meets disco groove of the album immediately captured me and drew me in. From the first track, “Chamkay”, to the closing, “Time Will Tell”, the album keeps the listener guessing, weaving in and out of multiple genres it gets almost anybody on their feet and dancing.

See this authentic scale model Civil War railroad on display in 3D terrain. The importance of railroads during the Civil War was significant. From the arrival in Baltimore of a Union regiment of Massachusetts troops by train in April 1861 to the end of the war in 1865, when troops used the railroad to return home, railroads played an important role in the Civil War.

LATE NIGHT CONCERT: Sweet Leda & Swampcandy

Baltimore’s own Sweet Leda & Swamp Candy will be puttin’ the jam in your cranberry jelly, and mashin’ up some funky beats for your post-thanksgiving cool-down. But don’t get me wrong, these performances will be anything but cold leftovers. The musical ingenuity of these bands will shock you out of your chairs, and on to the dance floor with some boogie in your step. Also, special guest Ron Holloway, esteemed saxophonist will be joinin’ the melodies. Check out Sweet Leda and Swampcandy for a little taste before the feast. It is a Christmas classic! Get in the holiday spirit and come see Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. Watch the BSO and the Baltimore School for the Arts dancers come together for this unprecedented collaboration. Full of magic and wonder, The Nutcracker plot takes place in Germany on Christmas Eve. Two children named Clara and Fritz Stahlbaum are enjoying their family party. Their godfather, a toymaker named Herr Drosselmeyer, gives the children gifts, and Clara loves her life-sized nutcracker doll. That night, the girl falls asleep under the Christmas tree and dreams of The Mouse King and the Sugar Plum Fairy. After he turns into a prince, her toy brings her to an enchanted forest and the Land of Sweets, and they meet fairies and dancing snowflakes.
