Babe Ruth was born in the classic Baltimore row house on February 6, 1895, his grandfather rented it. Originally the city was going to tear it down until it was saved by the mayor’s office and began the development of what it is today. Babe’s family helped to make the exhibits possible. It later became the official museum for the Orioles. It is lovely home that has undergone several restorations, ensuring that it does justice to Babe’s legacy.
The exhibits range from The Ruthian Record, highlighting his records, to Playing The Babe, highlighting his personality and lifestyle.
Admission is $7 for Adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for Children. Stop by and check out a really cool part of history in sports!
