Food Friday: Bull & Oyster Roast

If you are a senior or an alumni from Loyola, I’m sure you stopped by the annual Bull and Oyster Roast for a night of good friends and great food. If by chance you missed out, however; you have another opportunity to get in on the Maryland tradition. On April 14th the Frederick Douglass Isaac Myers Maritime Park will be hosting the 2011 Friends Bull and Oyster Roast. With delicious food provided by Ryleigh’s Oyster, as well as a wide selection of Baltimore’s best ales at the hands of Clipper City Brewing, there is no way you will leave this event without a stomach filled with joy. Proceeds will go towards education programming at Fort McHenry, and will support K-12 curriculum and lesson plan development as well.

The Roast will take place from 6:00-9:00pm on the evening of the 14th. All-inclusive tickets are priced at $55, with proceeds going towards great causes looking to assist the children of Baltimore. For information on purchasing tickets, visit their website.
