…and the list continues with all the activities done in a WLOY t-shirt. Send us a picture of you in your t-shirt or get caught by a staff member in your shirt to get featured on the website and our Facebook page. The first 10 students to enter a picture get one of the new WLOY t-shirts that are coming in and the rest get put in a raffle for other cool prizes (including more tshirts!).

Late Night Movie!

Filiohno – WLOY’s Eating Machine

Alex successfully defends her title at Hampdenfest 2012 by speed eating her way through an innocent piece of Cafe Hon’s amazing bread pudding, complete with caramel sauce and whipped cream. She toyed with the other competitors to make them feel like they had a chance and then crushed their hopes like they were little bugs. All hail Filiohno! And keep away when she’s hungry!

Sports Saturdays: The Last Stand for the Baltimore Orioles

As the MLB season comes to a close soon, the Orioles are looking to extend their time at Oriole Park just a little longer. This weekend, the Orioles will be playing Division Rival Boston Red Sox.
Currently, the Orioles are in the heat of it all by being a game and a half back from the New York Yankees for first place in the American League East.
This homestead follows an incredible week for the Birds. They won six straight in a row in extra innings. The heart and fight that the players are giving happen to be so enduring for Baltimore natives and Oriole fans who have not had the opportunity to see a postseason game in more than 5 years.

RA Sushi Eating Contest for The Living Classrooms Foundation TODAY!

If you answered yes to any of these questions come down today at 6pm to RA Sushi downtown. “Pretty Peter Sushi Eater vs. Eating Queen Alexandra” square off tonight!! All money donated go to The Living Classrooms Foundation.

Late Night Coffeehouse with Maria Dontas

That is until you hear who is performing…Maria Dontas! Name sound familiar? Maria is one of Loyola’s very own. A recent 2012 graduate who has joined us a number of times at Late Night events, opened for Jack’s Mannequin at Loyolapalooza with her duo group Beauty and the Greek, and holds the current title for Loyola’s Battle of the Bands. She is a talent you don’t want to miss! So come out on Thursday for a fun filled evening.

This event provides a fun and exciting opportunity to meet like-minded friends while supporting environmental restoration in Baltimore. All proceeds will benefit Blue Water Baltimore, enabling us to continue restoring clean streams and a healthy Harbor. Fundraisers like this one provide crucial supplies for stream cleanups, art materials for storm drain stenciling, trees for plantings, fuel for the Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper boat, and much more. Wendel Patrick (also known as Kevin Gift) will treat you to a wonderful fusion of jazz, electronica, and hip hop sounds for your listening pleasure. The Water are no strangers to Loyola.
