Honfest 2016 – WLOY Stage
Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 by The Professor
It’s that time of year again folks! Honfest!! Where you can relive the ’50s kitsch you never got to experience, break out your best Bawlmerese, throw a dress on your favorite man, and generally revel in the weirdness and fun. WLOY is bringing you a great lineup at our stage located on 36th street at the Chestnut Street intersection (across from The Charmery). Come on down for some fantastic local bands and a few imports. This year we have a VERY limited edition shirt for the show – including a band list on the back – so you can take home copies of the bands music AND your own Honfest souvenir to wear proudly. Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 by The Professor
On March 2nd, 2016 a Baltimore institution burned. The Book Thing, a free book store serving the city for more than 15 years, suffered a massive fire that destroyed more than 200,000 books and the roof of the building. Working with the great people at Friends Records and Peabody Heights Brewing Company, we have put together an amazing festival to raise more money! An incredible collection of local bands large and small have jumped in to help, food vendors signed on, and we are ready to blow everyone away!
