It began as a vision for Will Shanklin 8 years ago. At Artscape 2014 it was officially unveiled. This amazing structure is providing a much needed relief from the usual billboards crowding our streets and is creating visibility for a huge collection of artists in the region FOR FREE. Will Shanklin, the artist and visionary behind the billboard’s development and operation sat down for a chat with me right before the official launch of the billboard at Artscape 2014. He shared his idea for the billboard, it’s future and how it can impact art and Baltimore in a positive way. (more…)

Contrary to the usual museum, the Star Wars Toy Museum is an online museum! The founder of this museum is located right here in Maryland but on the website you can view all the collectible Star Wars Toys and see them all set up different scenes. Its a great way to connect to other Star Wars lovers!

This year’s festival will be held indoors in the Cow Palace where fairgoers can find 60 kinds of beers, 40 bourbons and lots of BBQ. There will also be live music provided by Annapolis Blue Grass Coalition, Kelly Bell Band and the Amish Outlaws and seminars with master distillers, brewmasters and pit masters. What: The rebuilding of Noah’s Arc
God’s Ark of Safety Church in Maryland has given us one of the most interesting religious attractions in the country. The church is constructing a rebuilding of Noah’s Ark. Supposedly this is inspired by a dream that the church’s pastor had and is a huge 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet tall structure.
