Join Waterfront Partnership for the 5th Annual Harbor Harvest on Saturday, Oct. 20th from 10a.m.-2p.m. at West Shore Park. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music by Recess Monkey, an IKEA urban pumpkin patch, a hay maze, pony rides, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, food trucks and more! Be sure to RSVP to the event for a free Harbor Harvest tote bag for kids while supplies last. Harbor Harvest is sponsored by IKEA and Harborplace & The Gallery.

Explore Baltimore: Hollins Harvest Fall Festival

The Hollins Roundhouse Neighborhood Association presents a celebration of the fall harvest, good food, good neighbors and healthy living in the historic Hollins Market neighborhood. Highlights include two puppet performances by the Black Cherry Puppet Theater as well as a puppet-making workshop; a circus performance by Charm City Movement Arts; a farmer’s market with a fresh food cook-off; an open-air Zumba lesson; free health testing, cookbooks, and information; arts & crafts; food vendors; beer & wine available at local restaurants.

Sports Saturdays: Grants Available for Youth-Led Community Organizing Groups

Youth (up to age 21) in Baltimore City and County who want to put their community building ideas into action are invited to apply for funding. Grants range from $500 to $3,500 and are available for community organizing programs that are created and carried out by young people. Applicants are required to attend one of the two workshops and must be represented by one or two youth and no more than one optional adult. The application deadline is on Friday, November 16 at 5:00 p.m.

Explore Baltimore: Rosemont PhotoVoice
