Food Friday: Bar Clavel
Friday, February 19th, 2016 by WLOY Staff
What: Bar Clavel
Where: 225 West 23rd Street, Baltimore, MD
When: Hours
Tacos, Chips, and Salsa, three words that bring a genuine wave of happiness over me. I don’t know you, but I bet it does for you too.
To go along with an excellent ambiance is some appetizing food. I was once told by a friend from Mexico that the staple for her family is the tortilla, apparently Bar Clavel follows the same principle as they make homemade gluten-free tortillas. Their meat is pure quality and organic, something not always seen these days. Bite in to a Chambarete taco (remember those home made tortillas) and taste the juicy angus beef steak and tantalizing spices! Or, take a spoonful (a big one) of Caldo de Verduras made of corn, cabbage, chayote, carrot, calabaza, and green beans! There are plenty of options for you and your friends to enjoy!
Soooo, I am highly recommending you stop by Bar Clavel for an ultra hipster night of taco eating and guac dipping.

Where: 3528 Chestnut Ave, B-MORE
When: Wed-Sun 8am-1pm (or sell out)
I love my doughnuts. I live for my doughnuts. And, thanks to B. Doughnut I can branch out of my old-fashion plain and try a Hibiscus Pistachio.
B. Doughnut is an artisan, hand-crafted doughnut shop that takes pride in what they sell. They do not believe in the mass produced products, they focus on quality doughnuts for doughnut connoisseurs, like me, to truly appreciate and devour. But, if you want a taste of that new strawberry creme doughnut you have to get to there quickly in the morning because they close when they sell out! If you’re in the mood for an original taste and I feel that and I respect it, and so does B. Doughnut; take a bite out of their chocolate cream, berry jam, or vanilla bean. Nom nom everyone!
Follow them on Instagram @b_doughnut and click here for more information on their amazing doughnuts. Should I say doughnuts one more time? Doughnuts.
