21 Savage is a British-American rapper who has created several worldwide hits like “X”, “Bank Account”, “Rockstar” with Post Malone, and more. His most popular albums are Issa Album (2017), I am > I was (2018), Her Loss (2022) with Drake, and now American Dream (2024). From I am > I was, he won a Grammy for Best Rap Song for “A Lot” ft. J. Cole. He’s collaborated with many popular artists and producers like Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, and more, many of them being on his newest album.
“All of Me” and “Redrum” are two of the most popular songs from the album, but personally they weren’t songs that really stood out to me. “Nee-nah” ft. Travis Scott and “Should’ve worn a bonnet” ft. Brent Faiyaz are definitely my favorites from the album- there’s a reason they’re a part of the most listened-to songs from American Dream. “Nee-nah” has a great beat and it reminds me a lot of 21 Savage’s old songs, Travis Scott only elevates it. 21 Savage chose great people to feature on each song, they fit the vibe and each feature made the song better like “N.H.I.E.” featuring Doja Cat. If you listen to any of the artists that were featured, especially 21 Savage, you would probably enjoy American Dream.
