WLOY presents “The Encore,” where we spotlight our favorite artists that have visited the station. This week: Stephen Lynch!

On June 2, 2010, WLOY radio station had the pleasure of hosting Stephen Lynch, a talented and influential musician and comedian. During his visit, Lynch shared his journey in music and his upcoming plans at the time. His witty presence left a lasting impression on both the staff and audience, making the day a memorable highlight in WLOY’s history.

Since his visit to WLOY nearly 15 years ago, Stephen has continued to entertain audiences with his multifaceted talents. He has released several more albums, including the double live/studio album My Old Heart in 2019, which topped the Billboard Comedy charts. Lynch’s ability to blend sharp humor with musical versatility remains as strong as ever. His dedication to his craft and his evolving artistry have earned him a loyal and growing fan base, holding a steadfast relevancy among various generations. Mr. Lynch is currently writing and recording his next album, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Despite his success, Lynch seems to remain the same down-to-earth performer who once charmed WLOY with his humor and talent.
