SOTW- “Under the Moon” by Ari Lennox

Review:

Ari Lennox is an R&B/neo-soul artist who’s been making music since around 2012. She’s known for her smooth vocals and honest lyrics. After being part of Dreamville Records label for years, Ari is now working on her own with Interscope Records, and it shows – her sound is evolving in a very interesting way. “Under The Moon” is the second single from her recent album Vacancy, and it’s got a mysterious, romantic twist that dropped right in time for fall.

This song is one of my favorites on the album. “Under The Moon” is one of those songs that feels very smooth from beginning to end. Overall, it feels kind of old-school with Ari’s signature soulful style mixed in. It also has a type of groove that pull listeners in without trying too hard. The rhythm and R&B vibe makes this song perfect for a chill fall night and even makes listeners feel like they need to dance around. This is definitely one of those tracks that sticks out and sticks with you even after it ends.
