Claire Riley is a sophomore at Loyola and lives in Silver Spring, MD. Growing up listening to musicians from the 60s and 70s, Claire gives most credit to her parents for her baby-boomeresque music taste and fascination with the history, style, and music of the 1960s and 70s. Some of her favorites include the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Janis Joplin, and Bruce Springsteen. “Classic Rockin’ Claire Riley,” her show’s original name, played strictly classic rock but the new and improved “Retro Riley” is looking forward to mixing in more Motown, disco and R&B.
