Greyhounds Golf Strong In Second Place Finish

The strong season for Loyola golf continued for as the Greyhounds finished 2nd at the Terrapin Invitational at Woodmont Country Club this week.
The Hounds finished with a team score of a 9-over-par 873, just 5 shots behind the host team, University of Maryland, who took first place with a team score of a 4-over-par 868.
Loyola golfers Matt Oshrine and Jimmy Dengler grabbed top-10 finishes for the Hounds, and 4 Loyola golfers finished within the top 17.
Oshrine recorded 2 rounds in red numbers, starting the tournament with a 1-under 71, and then finishing the tournament with a final round 2-under 70.
The Greyhounds finish their fall schedule at the end of this month at the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate in Fort Myers, Florida on October 27th and 28th.
