Filled with Broadway classics, lavish choreography, and a wonderful storyline, Newsies will surely entertain you. The show has won 2 Tony Awards, and Vogue called it, “Electrifying”. Country singer, Trace Adkins, is bringing Christmas cheer to Baltimore! The Christmas Show is a family-friendly theatrical show full of Christmas classics. It will be hard not to sing along with Adkins as holiday spirit trickles into the Lyric Opera House. The show also features songs from Adkins’ Celtic Christmas album, The King’s Gift. Celtic Christmas music seems like an unusual genre for Adkins, but he does it beautifully! Unless you’re one of those people who refuses to watch a film after you’ve already read it in book form, Gone Girl is a must-see, and it’s right here in Baltimore! Based on Gillian Flynnunearths best seller, Gone Girl tells the story of Nick Dunne, whose wife, Amy, has gone missing. When Dunne, played by Ben Affleck, reports his wife’s disappearance, investigations turn what once seemed to be the ideal marriage into a crumbling union of man and wife. Under police and media pressure, Dunne’s lies and odd behavior make him a suspect of the disappearance (murder?) of Amy Dunne. I don’t want to spoil the twisted thriller, so I will say no more. Just head down to Senator Theatre, grab your large popcorn (extra butter!), and your box of “Buncha Crunch”, and enjoy unraveling the mystery! See show times here!
