What: Brown Rice Korean Grill
Where: 2404 N Charles St
When: Monday-Saturday, 11am-9pm
What do fast food and fresh, healthy food have in common? Nothing, you think? That’s what I would think too if I didn’t know about Brown Rice Korean Grill. Focusing on fresh and tasty, Brown Rice serves several traditional Korean dishes like dumplings, Kimchi stew, and scallion pancakes.
Despite this already delicious menu, this restaurant’s most popular dish is Bibimap. Like a Chipotle for Korean food, Brown Rice has tons of fresh ingredients out for you to pick what you want in order to customize your Bibimap bowl. With meats from tofu to squid to pork, all the veggies you can dream of, and tons of classic sauces like mango sauce, soy sauce, and Deonjang that Bibimap bowl combos are endless!

Explore Baltimore: Dvořák’s Cello Concerto
Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 by WLOY Staff
What: Dvořák’s Cello Concerto
Where: Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Catherdral St
When: Thursday, February 16th, 8pm
Celebrate your Valentine’s Day a little late this year with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as they present Dvořák’s Cello Concerto. This romantic symphony has all the drama and score that a classical music lover could ask for on this romantic holiday. Marin Alsop pairs Samuel Barber’s Romantic First Symphony with Copland’s evocation of the 16th President to create a masterful concerto. But the drama and the romance doesn’t end there! This concerto will also include Czech composer, Antonin Dvořák’s, tribute to a dying love in his amazing cello concerto. All of this beautiful music comes together in a stunning conclusion that will move you and make your Valentine’s Day one to remember.

Explore Baltimore: Diablo Doughnuts
Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 by WLOY Staff
What: Diablo Doughnuts
Where: 717 S. Broadway
When: Wednesday-Friday 7am-1pm, Saturday-Sunday 7am-3pm
Michael Roslan, a born and raised Baltimorean started making doughnuts as a pass-time, but then realized his talent and created Diablo Doughnuts, the best doughnut shop in Baltimore. Roslan’s freshly baked doughnuts made with local ingredients will tempt you into buying a dozen the second you lay eyes on them. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw the picture in this article and ran over to 717 S. Broadway right now!
Diablo Doughnuts offers some amazing traditional doughnuts with Roslan’s own twist and original flavors. Want something sugary? Try the Unicorn Farts doughnut. Something savory? Try the Maple Bacon doughnut. Something sweet? Try the Cherry Cheesecake. Feeling adventurous? How about Sin Crunch then. With all these great options, I am getting hungry just writing about Diablo Doughnuts!
