Carter Brady, a New York-based musician and singer/songwriter, is making waves in the indie rock scene with his upcoming solo debut. Known for his work across alt rock, blues, jazz, and lo-fi genres, Brady is now focusing on creating infectious, feel-good indie rock. With influences like Phoenix and Tame Impala, Brady’s music reflects a blend of youthful energy and nostalgic vibes. Now, Brady is out with his album, “Shopping Cart.”
Brady’s newest project “Shopping Cart” is a 13-track album with a 48-minute listening time. With each song ranging to about 2-3 minutes, the album is perfect for a quick listening when searching for a new sound. Songs like “Instead” and “Go Home” offer a lighter vibe, while others like “We’re Talking” exemplify Brady’s liking for rock. My personal favorite is “So Late” because of the faster pace; this specific really breaks up the album and showcases Brady’s guitar talent.
