Coyote Island Interview

Music Director Sylvia J. Gredzinski (‘27) recently sat down on a zoom call with Mike O’Hehir, lead vocalist, songwriter, and producer of Coyote Island. Based in Portland, Maine, the band started as a solo project, which over time expanded to include three more members. Coyote Island creates a unique sound blending the genres of folk, reggae, and psychedelic indie, along with beats inspired by cultures from around the world, in hopes of letting their listeners feel free and emotionally uplifted. Coyote Island is currently on their Shadow Magic tour, performing at the 8×10 in Baltimore on February 19, 2026. Come check them out to experience good vibes and great music!
