Review: Underlined Passages is a small indie rock band that originated right here in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2014. Since then, they have worked with Mint 400 Records to create songs rooted in amazing guitar work and the same vibe as many popular 90s indie rock bands. Their music reflects, to me, the kind of music an older brother would listen to growing up; much like Deftones and Slowdive.
Their album “The Accelerationists” is a collection of cohesive songs that explore topics of change in time and the strange speed in which our lives pass us by. Although the album is based in a rock-ish tone, some of the songs are almost dreamy and calm. Together, the songs create a mood that, for me, is kind of nostalgic. I would definitely invite everyone to listen carefully to this album and see what emotions each song drives you to. My favorites on the album are Flaxxon, Endsong, and Heywood Floyd.
