2. 1975: Ritchie Blackmore leaves Deep Purple to form Rainbow, shaping the future of hard rock.

3. 1985: Wham! becomes the first Western pop group to perform in China, breaking cultural barriers.

4. 1998: George Michael is arrested in Beverly Hills, leading to his public coming out.

5. 2008: Bob Dylan receives a Pulitzer Prize Special Citation for his lyrical influence on American music.
