Radio RockonTour, an original broadcast concept for discerning Concertphiles, is now a weekly presentation on WLOY online Tuesdays at Noon. Tim Tilghman hosts a musically engaging program, mixing classic rock with new releases, live tracks and obscure surprises.
Broadcast playlists are individually tailored programs. A sampling of unique shows has been “Friends In Baltimore”, “Busking with the Beatles”, “Live Aid 1985: Silver Anniversary”, “Facebook Friends”, “Red Lights at the Repeerbahn”, “Music Library 101”, “For Promotional Use Only”, “That `70s Broadcast”, “Eye of the Tiger”, and “Ghouls, Goblins & Ghosts”.
Previous guests on Radio RockonTour include Chris Grace from Blacklight Rumble, Greg Hawkes founding keyboardist with The Cars, famed Beatles concert promoter Sid Bernstein, Rod Davis original & current member of The Quarrymen, renown Canadian bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, Rolling Stones confidant & author Bill German as well as original Beatles drummer Pete Best. Expect more fascinating celebrities in future interviews.
Tim anticipates welcoming artists and bands to appear live for exclusive intimate performances. Showcasing emerging artists is an important objective. Enjoy eargasms of entertaining material from both digital & vinyl sources. You never know what songs will turn up in rotation.
