Maya and her family were taking a walk at Lake Montebello on a bright sunny day. Other kids were riding their bikes and bird watching when their dog Casper suddenly ran towards a tree. When Maya went to go investigate she saw that Casper was digging a hole. Maybe he found something she thought, so she began to help him dig.
