One of the most beautiful spots in Baltimore is The George Peabody Library. Done perfectly with black and white tile it looks like everything you would imagine a library to be. It boasts of much grandeur and many, many books. There are five extraordinary tiers! Opened in 1878 the library now contains over 300,000 volumes, mostly pre-war. Their books are centered on British art and architecture, British and American literature, Greek and Latin classics, history of science, geography and exploration, including maps. It is also famous for hosting beautiful weddings!
