On October 25th, the Everyman Theatre will be holding The World of the Play, a new panel discussion series, inspired by Grounded. The discussion will cover topics like women in military, the ethics of drone warfare, and motherhood, themes that can be seen the award-winning London hit. The show, which has never-before been seen in Baltimore, is coming to the Everyman Theatre from October 15th- November 16th, so get your tickets, and come to The World of the Play for more thought-provoking discussion! Greyhounds Golf Strong In Second Place Finish

The strong season for Loyola golf continued for as the Greyhounds finished 2nd at the Terrapin Invitational at Woodmont Country Club this week.
The Hounds finished with a team score of a 9-over-par 873, just 5 shots behind the host team, University of Maryland, who took first place with a team score of a 4-over-par 868.
Loyola golfers Matt Oshrine and Jimmy Dengler grabbed top-10 finishes for the Hounds, and 4 Loyola golfers finished within the top 17.

With Halloween creeping up on us, what better way to satisfy your hunger for haunting than viewing miniature models of real-life murders? At the State of Maryland’s Medical Examiner’s office lies the Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Deaths, a collection of miniature models of bloody crime scenes that are both eerie and realistic. In fact, the dollhouse-like scenes are on a scale of one foot to one inch, replicating the exact layout of the crimes as they occurred, but in the eyes of a six-inch tall Sherlock Holmes. Buckle up! MF DOOM is back, accompanied by his new prodigy the 18-year old New York native, Bishop Nehru! So, sit back ladies and gents’ and enjoy the raw lyricism of the young rapper Bishop Nehru alongside the musical and lyrical genius of MF Doom. That being said do not expect the album to be chock full of Doom verses, however the few songs, which he is on, are more than fire, and Bishop Nehru is growing into a prospective great with his performance.

When you think of penguins, you probably think of icebergs, polar bears, and movies about a happy little tap-dancer. The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is showing penguins in a whole new light with their latest exhibit, Penguin Coast, a South-Africa-inspired habitat for African penguins, a penguin species unique to the African continent. Not only will the exhibit allows guests to get a much closer look at the adorable birds with its underwater viewing, wave action, and water features, but it will also provide resources for penguin housing, breeding, and care that will assist this endangered species.
