Night Visions: Imagine Dragons’ Big Debut

December 7th, 2012 by Kathleen McKeveny

These Las Vegas rockers’ debut is high energy, with each track both as unique and catchy as the next. Its clean production and innovative percussion provide for an extraordinary desire to sing-a-long with these upbeat tracks. Each song has multiple explosive moments, which speaks to the recent shift towards dance-influenced music. But all the while, Imagine Dragons maintains their rocker image without getting lost in the allure of over-production or synthesizing.

There is a very Las Vegas influence in the enormous grandeur and scope of sound of this album, not unlike their fellow LV rockers; The Killers. This new release is undoubtedly one of the most essential albums of this year. Do yourself a favor and add Night Visions to your library as soon as possible!

Every track is more than worthy of a listen, but here are some recommended tracks, just in case:

Track 1- Radioactive
Track 2- Tiptoe
Track 3- It’s Time
Track 6- Amsterdam
