Museum Mondays: Jewish Museum of Maryland
September 1st, 2014 by Samantha Chemali
Where: Inner Harbor
Established in 1879, this museum was created to preserve the Jewish American history and culture. The second largest port of immigration to the United States was here in Baltimore, bringing two great waves of Jewish immigrants. This museum is the only museum in America with two historic synagogues preserved for the public. They are situated right in the heart of a historic Jewish neighborhood.
Located a 10 minute walk from the Inner Harbor, this museum has a student discount price of only 4 dollars! Be sure to check out their website here.
