Looking for something fun to do this Saturday? Join us at Hampdenfest, Saturday September 17th from 11am-7pm. Hampdenfest is held in Hampden (Baltimore), MD, along W 36th Street. Don’t have a ride? No problem! We will provide shuttles throughout the day. There will be one Woodlawn bus that will run throughout the day leaving Newman Towers on the hour, every hour, Boulder at 15 minutes past the hour, and at 37th and Chesnut 30 minutes past the hour. The last bus will leave Hampden at 8pm to return to campus. At Hampden fest, you will find vendors, live music, and plenty of food and drink to enjoy. If you aren’t persuaded already, there’s even a pie eating contest!! Listen to some live music, buy some cute accessories, and eat some delicious food! What’s not to be excited about!? But wait, there’s more! For all the competitive people out there who may not be into getting pie all over their face, there is a toilet race! Teams could consist of up to 4 drivers and as many as 6 pushers. Registration begins at 10am until late noon, and the race begins at 3pm. What’s not great about strolling through the block on a toilet?
Don’t forget to stop by the WLOY booth at 36th & Roland Ave. for raffles and some free give aways! Tickets to Soundstage and much more! Come join us in the craziness and don’t miss out on the fun!
