Not a whole lot of changes here folks. MGMT remains at #1. Some debuts by Manchester Orchestra, Taylor Locke, and Kate Nash. The top 15 remain pretty much unchanged. This week’s chart is inspired by Conan O’Brien and his beard. Because without his beard…Conan would probably not be doing what he is doing right now…kickin butt on tour, new TV show in November, and telling NBC what the deal is!!!!! Yeeehaw!!! (why did i just do that) (more…)

Ahhhhh! Riding off of their recent “SNL” performance, MGMT takes over the #1 spot from the Gorillaz. Two Door Cinema Club and Taylor Hawkins also make big splashes onto the countdown. This week’s chart is brought to you by Tim Tebow. Welcome, to the NFL buddy. Have fun riding the bench…cause you definitely won’t be playing QB anytime soon. (more…)

We have a new #1 for this week. Frightened Rabbit slowly made its way to the top spot this week, knocking off fellow UK band Mumford and Sons. We also see a huge debut from Queens, NY based band Freelance Whales. This week’s top 40 is inspired by Phil Mickelson. He showed us this week that he is truly a great American hero! Congrats, Lefty! This week, we see little change up top. Mumford & Sons continues their dominance for another week as they keep getting bigger around the world! I couldn’t think of what would inspire the top 40…but its Russell Crowe’s birthday this week, so that’ll do. At my signal…UNLEASH HELL!

This week, Dan Black remains at #1, while Frightened Rabbit and Shooter Jennings see big debuts into the Top 40. Who knows how long Dan Black will retain the coveted number one position! This week’s chart is inspired by Northern Iowa’s Ali Farokhmanesh and his ability to destroy NCAA brackets. I’m losing money over this guy! Who the hell does he think he is? I guess I should stop betting, but that would be logical. (more…)

This week’s Top 40 sees Dan Black take over the top spot. We also see big debuts from Alkaline Trio, Cedar Avenue, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, as well as the Gorillaz. This week’s Top 40 is brought to you by the shattered World Cup dreams of David Beckham. It’s okay, big guy. Like I always say, there’s always next year! Or, maybe there isn’t… (more…)

Here are this weeks charts. Spoon’s new album remains at #1 for a second straight week. This week’s charts are inspired by James Cameron and how pissed off he must be for not winning Best Director or Best Picture at the Oscars. On top of that…he lost to his ex-wife both times. WOMP WOMP! (more…)

You ready for this week’s Top 40? Some of the top artists this week are seasoned artists (Spoon, Motion City Soundtrack) but some are new to the game (Mumford & Sons), proving that they have enough musical talent to top the charts among the rest. Oh yeah – it’s also Zach Morris’ birthday! Apparently, he’s ditched the blonde look! Man, I remember Saved By The Bell like it was yesterday. Forgive the nostalgia, but is anyone else feeling a bit old?
