Basketball Battle of Baltimore in Reitz Arena

WHAT: Loyola Men’s Basketball vs. UMBC

WHEN: Wednesday, November 19th, 8:00pm

WHERE: Reitz Arena, Loyola University Maryland

The Hounds will take on their familiar crosstown rivals, just a couple of days after taking down Cornell in the Hounds’ home opener.

Can’t make it to Reitz Arena for the game but still want to see the game? Not a problem! This game will be the first of three this season to be televised on MASN, the home station of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals.

Even if you don’t live in an area that receives MASN but still want to watch the game, you can. The game will be simulcast on SNY for the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area, and will be broadcast on the Patriot League network.

Loyola brings some confidence into this game at home, after coming back and beating Cornell, and look to improve to 2-1 on the season tonight.

The Hounds also come in boasting the Patriot League Rookie of the Week in freshman Andre Walker.

Loyola and UMBC have a long history coming into this game, making tonight’s game the 48th time these two meet on the court, with Loyola leading the series 29-18.

Come on out to Reitz Arena and support the Hounds against the UMBC Retreivers.
